Odysseys
While I spend most of my work time and a good deal of my play time in the virtual world, activities that take place in the great outdoors remain among my favorite forms of recreation. I love to walk and hike in natural surroundings, with canoeing, swimming, and similar activities also being high on my list of pastimes.
Close to home, one of my favorite places to wander is Memorial Park. Other nearby haunts include the trails of Clear Lake's Armand Bayou Nature Center and Brazos Bend State Park. Love of nature has also guided many of my vacations, from childhood trips to Colorado and Alaska to more recent journeys to New Mexico and Arkansas.
